2008 Origins Awards Nominees Announced

Found over at Gaming Report. Hit the jump for the full list. As usual, there’s some good stuff in there, along with a healthy dose of WTF? (For example, Bankruptcy is one of the worst games I have ever played, and yet, there it is…)

Like last year, I intend to cover the awards ceremony at Origins.

Comments

  1. Good to see Zombie Fluxx on there, it was definitely a nice addition to the classic game of Fluxx and added some new elements that I really enjoyed. There are a few other games on there I’ve been wanting to play / read / try out, mainly Classic Battletech.

  2. Apparently some of the WotC people read Critical Hits. At least Bruce Cordell does.

  3. And so it happens, I’m going to vote for the Dungeons Tiles set for the award. It really is a good product, and that one in particular has some awesome barns, towers, and other useful stuff.

  4. OriginalSultan says:

Agree about Zombie Fluxx. It is definitely deserving of an award.
