A Fey's Journal: Under Ptolus' Necropolis (Second day, early morning)

Here is another of Yan’s player log detailing last Friday’s continuing tomb crawling (I think he’s getting bored about it, but maybe that’s just me…. Tee Hee like Lille would say). Enjoy!

This entry is going to be as short as Nogard’s deepness of thought. I’m sooooo feed up with this place.

We spent more than 24 hours searching this place for the way to reach that source of green goo, beating up on anything that came at us and still nothing except going through the pit.

Yesterday, we managed to kill a pair of fused gorilla-like aberrations in less time that it took me to write this line.

We also fought a half serpent, half human servant of Sehan and her cultists (or whatever they where).

This was an interesting fight, she became invisible the moment the fight began and just before she moved, I sprinkled the area she was in with some of my home-made fairy dust, covering her with the stuff… How sad for her!

It looked like she had to reconsider her strategy now that we could all see her.. Tee Hee! Still, after a few seconds of fighting, it became apparent that she was protected by some force-armour, making it hard to hit her. I pierced her magical armour with another of my brilliant spells and the others could finally hit her, which they did, quickly shredding her to pieces…

The others might be more efficient than a group of werewolves on a lone fat sheep, but it is I, keeper of the secret Shaper arts, that can make it all happen!

Actually, that Snake woman didn’t so much fall into pieces as explode into a spraying fountain of green goo. It splashed all over Nogard and Crueger… I think Nogard swallowed some because he seemed to have been made dumber (if that can be possible) by it. He certainly seemed to be stronger! Maybe there some sort of inverted link between his muscles and his head… who knows what kind of weird lifeform he is now?

Another Sehan servant eliminated! It’s at this point that we decided that it was time to call it a day.

We went to the druid’s grove sitting in the middle of the Graveyard. You know the one where that Grumpy druid Andach was too busy to be a polite host. Thankfully, a nice young druid apprentice took over Mr. Gruff and we had a nice old time visiting this little burst of life surrounded by so much death.

While we were looking around and getting set for the night, some fellow came running to the island. It was the young noble man that we had freed from the slaver’s in the sewer a few months ago. My they sure make those tongue grow fast around here.

He was a charming fellow really, although Cixi seem to have issue with the poor guy. I don’t quite get why, I mean, he’s good looking, has a good taste in music and he’s extremely confident. Well, maybe the last part came a little bit too much like arrogance.

Regardless, if it were me, I’d have given him the benefit of the doubt. (And I’m sure he has some sort crush on our lethal but fine piece of Noble Human artillery, but what do I know about human emotions? We Sprites like to play with them, not understand them).

Sadly he left quite early and the rest of the evening pretty much passed in small talks with the grove’s inhabitants and, of course some fine music by your’s truly…
On the morning we set out to continue our search in the crypt. Behind one the remaining unopened door we found some Undead king with his no less undead servant. Well they got pummeled alright! Another expedient victory for the yet unnamed troupe of fearless adventurers (We really have to do something about that, how can you expect me to write heroics about us if we can’t have a heroic-sounding name!!!!)

So here we are, we have only a door left to visit… or the bottom of that creepy pit, if no other way down is found behind that last door…

What is that I hear? Sounds like a thousand spiders…

Nicely done in character, have a cookie 😀

I still can’t wait to see where this campaign ends up. I’ve been stifling the urge to look it up to see for myself.

This adventure has been hacked beyond recognition… and I’m stopping the adventure arc here, I’m not going to play the third part. So go on, read the Dungeon adventure… 🙂

Hopefully we’ll get to play the ‘1/2 season finale’ before year’s end and be ready for some serious plane hopping by January.
