The Future is Animated

On the heels of the announcement that Futurama is coming back, there’s some more science fiction animation news.

Andre 3000, whom you may know as half of Outkast, is getting his own show on cartoon network called “Class of 3000” that focuses on a class of school kids in the 2990’s, presumbly with Andrew voicing the teacher. Expect plenty of musical numbers and music videoes.
And a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away… no, longer and farther… yes, no word on whether it’ll be called “The Search for More Money”, but Spaceballs is going to become a cartoon for G4. Two of the original writers will write the pilot including Mel Brooks, and Brooks is set to voice a few of the characters, including President Skroob and Yogart.
