Following up on last week’s news that Game of Thrones will be adapted to an HBO series, we ask the question:

Of the upcoming adaptations of books and comics to tv shows or movies, who would you like to see cast in one of these projects?

Some of these announced but uncast adaptations are listed in this week’s poll:

What adaptation are you most looking forward to?

Is there anyone that jumps out to you as an ideal choice to play any of the characters in any of these projects? Any celebrities whose voice you hear as you read?

The Neon Genesis Evangelion movie I am very excited about, but I voted for Wonder Woman instead because I feel it is much more likely to be out sometime soon and I’m fairly confident in it being quality because of Joss Whedon writing -and- directing.

As far as actual casting I’m drawing complete blanks, other then the hilarious and nice suggestions in that poster for Watchmen, I can’t think of many actors/actresses for other roles.

I don’t have time for tv shows so I couldn’t vote for those (even though Game of Thrones would be great). I assume the Wheel of Time movie only encompasses the first book or so?

Yeah, the first of an eleven movie series. If someone had guts they would bankroll simultaneous filming of the first six novels….

… and still have less than half the series done.

Game of Thrones is my favorite book and I would love to see Henry Cavill as John Snow (check youtube for vids from Triston & Isolde and you will agree)
