I’m sure just about everyone has seen it, but in case you haven’t, you can find it here. It looks pretty interesting, actually. I was surprised that they seemed to get everyone back for their principle characters.

I’m still quite sad that they left out Alan Cummings as Nightcrawler, possibly the best character from the second movie, and he is simply absent from the third in favor of a mediocre looking Angel. Sad.

Angel looks like Angel. The problem lies in that his mutation is LAME. Tons of characters fly (without wings) and have other powers. Angels power is wings. Sweet. He has a worse version of a bland power!

So what you’re saying is… Angel is a worse form of Aquaman?

I would say it will only be exceptional if they use the Ultimate X-Men approach to it, where Angel was viewed by the public as not a mutant but a -real- angel, and therefore a harbringer of the apocalypse…Apocalypse…cue X-Men 4! I’ll write, direct, star, compose, and edit the thing, and it’ll most likely consist entirely of gay cowboys. Gay Cowboy Mutants.

With Wolverine being spun off, and major character death likely, X4 goes a whole new route….
X4: Brokeback Mansion:
Angel (to Beast): I wish I could quit you…

Aquaman and Angel… two starcrossed lovers. Though they lived in rival universes, their chance meeting at a party in New York changed their lives.
As gang war erupts between the JLA and the X-men, their love blossoms… only to end in tragedy.

And the worst thing is I have to read Bareback Mountain for my creative writing class. That will be a joy, I’m sure. Nothin’ says lovin’ like gay cowboys.

I read it for MY creative class, I bet we had the same short story book. It was a pretty fucking mediocre short story, and a bad movie.
